With a vision to enhance transportation infrastructure in Malaysia, Eagles Engineers undertook the development of the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects.
Our scope encompassed the design, construction supervision, testing and commissioning of Traffic Control & Surveillance Systems, Toll Collection Systems, and Street Lighting.
Transforming the East Coast Expressway into a beacon of intelligent transportation infrastructure our team implemented cutting-edge Traffic Control & Surveillance Systems including Variable Message Signs (VMS), Vehicle Incident Detection Systems (VIDS), seamlessly integrated with a robust Toll Collection System. Along the way, we illuminated the highway with modern Street Lighting across 9 interchanges in the project's first phase and 3 in the second phase, ensuring a safe and efficient journey for travellers.
Throughout the project, we maintained close collaboration with all parties participating in the project to ensure seamless integration and interface installations. Our efforts resulted in the successful completion of a critical interstate controlled-access highway spanning 433 kilometres, connecting Karak, Pahang to Kuala Nerus, Terengganu. Phase 1 covered 174 kilometres, while Phase 2 extended the highway by 184 kilometres.
We meticulously planned and executed each stage, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest quality and safety standards. Our collaborative approach and expertise in design and delivery were instrumental in overcoming project challenges and exceeding client expectations.
