As an accomplished Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, she has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing a diverse range of engineering projects, spanning railways, tunnels, bridges, buildings, and expressways.
With an impressive career history, Ir. Mdm Lim Lee Cheng has showcased her engineering acumen in various sectors, adding extensive value to significant projects. In the railway sector, she has played a key role in electrified double track projects, MRT 2 - SSP Line, and the Northern Double Track to Perlis Inland Port (PIP), displaying her adept project management skills. Her contributions to tunnelling include directing the prestigious Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT 3) Underground Tunnel Package and managing the Saudi Arabia Makkah Tunnel Project, where she provided engineering and consultancy services for tunnels' development in the Holy City of Makkah and Sacred Places.
Ir. Mdm Lim Lee Cheng's expertise extends to bridge projects, where she has excelled in designing marine bridge lighting systems for large-scale structures. Her management roles in various multi-faceted building developments underscore her versatility and leadership in the field. Additionally, she has made noteworthy contributions to expressway projects, providing mechanical and electrical services for various toll plazas and interchanges.
With a comprehensive set of qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Tenaga Nasional, Ir. Mdm Lim Lee Cheng is a Chartered Engineer registered by the UK Engineering Council. She is also a Professional Engineer with a Practising Certificate from the Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) and a proud member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) Association of Malaysia.
With over 20 years of experience and 29+ projects completed across transport road, transport rail, and commercial sectors, Ir. Mdm Lim Lee Cheng's dedication to excellence, exceptional leadership, and engineering prowess make her a highly respected figure in the engineering industry.
